Orange County Rock Band "Damage" Nominated for the 2007 Los Angeles Music Awards
Newport Beach, Calif. (PRWEB) November 15, 2007 -- Orange County-based Damage has been nominated for the 17th Annual 2007 Los Angeles Music Awards in the category of "Rock Group with Vocal" for their new single "My Point of View." Last year Damage won the award for Best Hard Rock Band at the 2006 Southern California Music Awards sponsored by Indie 103.1 FM.
"We're so thankful to receive such an incredible honor, and we congratulate all of the other nominees," says band front man Michael Neufeld. "It's been a great couple of years for the band and we want to thank all of our fans, family, and great friends who continue to support us on this journey."
The Newport Beach-based lead singer produced the band's new album, Truth and Consequence, along with Scott Ragotskie from Sound Matrix in Fountain Valley, Calif.
The Los Angeles Music Awards will be held Thursday, Nov. 29 at the Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles. Past winners at the Los Angeles Music Awards include Korn, System of a Down, No Doubt, 311, Hoobastank, Everclear, Sugar Ray, and Black Eyed Peas.
