Atlanta Based Social Music Start-Up Launches Maestro

Atlanta (PRWEB) April 23, 2008 -- Maestro Music Inc. a social music start-up, announced today the launch of its new music portal, Maestro.FM. The new site boasts dramatically enhanced features that allow users to listen to their music from anywhere in the world as well as access content related to their favorite musicians including reviews, bios, lyrics, videos and recent headlines. By providing users more access and content, Maestro continues to remove the restrictions of today's consumer listening experience.

Maestro has partnered with both Thumbplay for access to its premium mobile content and LyricsMode for its extensive catalog of song lyrics. The company aggregates music content from Amazon, YouTube, Wikipedia, Yahoo! and Amazon, providing users with a centralized destination for information on their favorite artists and songs and direct access to the best features and content expected from the next top social music platform. "We simply asked our users what was missing from their listening experience and filled that void with Maestro.FM", said Clarkson Logan, co-founder and CEO of Maestro.

With over two million songs scanned and thousands of playlists already available to visitors, Maestro.FM is the ideal site for someone to listen, discover and purchase new music. "In an increasingly disparate music environment, where fans are forced to visit several different sites to get all of the information and access they are searching for, Maestro has attempted to create one centralized location where everyday people can access their music and share their tastes with friends," said co-founder and COO, Greg Shrader.

Maestro was founded in 2004 and has completed one round of angel financing. The company was recently selected to present at the C.E.D. Venture Conference in Durham, N.C. on April 17th to discuss the digital music environment and to demonstrate Maestro's capabilities including the new site, Maestro.FM.
